Recycling technology that brings solutions with waste.
Currently the biggest part of BC waste is being landfilled or burned in energy recovery plants. Small part, not bigger than 30 per cent (European average) is recycled in paper mills. But only some paper mills are willing to use BC waste as secondary raw material due to high contamination with plastic and aluminum and, of course, these are not recovered and are still being landfilled.
KURUC Company spol. s.r.o. (KURUC) has implemented new approach for recycling BC waste. During KURUC recycling process 100 per cent of materials are used and recovered. New products are ecological, competitive on the market and have wide usability. Moreover - they are recyclable!
Despite the uniqueness of technology it cannot be considered as “revolutionary” as it is already implemented in several European countries an U.S.A. for more than ten years and it has proven track record of successful operation.
The major facts about the technology: o Raw materials- beverage cartons paper with PE or other plastic material o Products- wall panels (to be compared with OSB or wooden panels) o Power supply installation 150 kW -500 KW (type machine) o Low energy consumption o Wide range of product size, thickness, density o Very small amount of handiwork o With out other waste from technology process o Technology process with out aggressive chemical additives
Nowadays, K 0-1/18 is the only technology available for 100 per cent BC waste recycling.
