Revealed: 2017’s World Interior of the Year Award shortlist

Revealed: 2017’s World Interior of the Year Award shortlist

A floating bar, a jade green spa, and a futuristic mathematics gallery are just three of the projects that make up the shortlist for the 2017 INSIDE World Interior of the Year Award.

If you case your mind back to last week, you’ll remember we shared the shortlist for the 2017 World Architecture Festival Building of the Year prize. Well this is the same deal – only with a focus on world class interior design.

INSIDE Festival is the World Architecture Festival’s sister event, running alongside the WAF awards.

78 internal schemes from across the globe are in contention to be crowned the winner at this year’s award ceremony, which takes place in Berlin in November.

Some big names are shortlisted this year. Competing studios include Zaha Hadid Architects, Neri&Hu, and Heneghan Peng Architects.

All nominees will present their projects to distinguished international juries during the Festival to compete for one of the nine, coveted INSIDE category awards.

Shortlisted projects have been split into 9 categories, representing all spheres of interior design, such as bars and restaurants, hotels, offices, and residential designs.

The full shortlist of entries can be found on the INSIDE Festival website

As ever, WorldBuild365 has picked out some of our favourite nominated projects. Check them out below and let us know what you think.
