Project of the Week: Neobio Kids Restaurant, X+living, Shanghai
Eating out with children can often be a struggle for parents, waiters, and fellow diners alike. Is it even possible to cater to children’s appetites and short attention spans, while ensuring a stress-free experience for adults? Surely, there’s more to it than high-chairs, crayons, and the odd chicken nugget on the floor?
Design company X+Living claims to have the solution: Shanghai’s new child-friendly eatery Neobio. Located within a children’s book shop in the city’s Minhang District, the restaurant-cum-indoor play area offers entertainment for kids and relaxation for adults.
Like a cartoon-turned-reality, Neobio is magical world of different colours, patterns, shapes, and textures.
