This year the Saint Petersburg Production Plant of Ogneza Fire-Retardant Materials showed a range of products at the exhibition aimed at delivering 100% comprehensive fire protection during the construction of any building. The products guarantee the safety of metal, wood, plastic pipes, cables and air ducts. Product samples could be studied at the company’s stand.
Ogneza’s sales hit was the unique innovative product – thermal expanding sealant. There are no comparable counterparts in the country, and it has been included in the import substitution programme. More than 90% of the components of the sealant are domestic products, and for this reason it is notable for being of great value.
The company also displayed new products at the exhibition, including fire-retardant paint on metal. The coating is intended for external use, which means it has a weatherproofing compound, and is able to withstand corrosive environments, including salts, high and low temperatures, and precipitation.
The Canadian company HONCO is a manufacturer of steel frameless buildings – it selected the exhibition KazBuild/WorldBuild Almaty to promote its products in Kazakhstan.
HONCO steel buildings are designed using a special technology. The company offers a whole range of models in the construction niche of wide-span structures, a sector marked by fierce competition.
HONCO’s products are light and have low metal content, thereby delivering price advantages. The lack of concentrated loads makes it possible to use a light foundation wall, which is also cost-effective.
Moreover, HONCO buildings are energy-efficient structures – only the part of the building being used needs to be heated and cooled. In the case of wide spans, savings range from 30% to 45%
The company’s technologies are used extensively in the construction of sports facilities, warehouse complexes and other facilities.
The representative of HONCO steel buildings noted the high level of activity of the visitors to KazBuild/WorldBuild Almaty, which provides grounds for hoping for improvements in the economic situation and a new round in the development of the construction sector as a whole.
